This January Satellite is running three FREE summer Photography Workshops over three consecutive weeks for young people across Victoria who have a parent/carer with mental health challenges.
Our workshops focus on the ways images can speak a thousand words and how sharing different perspectives of the world around us (and OUR worlds around us) can be a powerful, creative and FUN way to connect with one another and our communities. We spend some time learning about the basics needed for good photography, we explore our surroundings, go on a photographic scavenger hunt and play with editing tools. At the end of the day we celebrate with a mini-exhibition and take home some printed pictures and framed favourites.
No previous photography experience needed and yummy lunch/snacks is provided.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you know of any young people who might love the opportunity to come along these summer holidays. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions or more information.
