Dear Satellite supporters and friends,
he colder months have approached and we have had lots of team members being sick as a result. We hope that you are managing to stay healthy as the cold sets in – make sure you’re taking time out to rest and keep self-care in mind. This past month has been a heavy one for many of our young people who were affected deeply by the anti-trans rally that took place on the steps of the Victoria Parliament. It’s also been a difficult time for First Nations peoples with the government’s announcement on the Voice and the corresponding Referendum, and the complexity of this space. We want to assure everyone in our community affected by this that your voice matters to us – please do reach out if you need to.
The April school holidays are just around the corner and we still have some places left – if you’d like any more information, please do give us a call on 1800 973 444 or pop through an email to hello@satellitefoundation.org.au
As always – stay connected, be creative and keep well.
With thanks,
Rose and the Satellite team
Satellite Takes on Parliament House!

On Monday 27 March, our CEO Rose Cuff and Youth Coordinator Mia Boonen attended an invitation-only event on youth mental health at Canberra House. The conversation was centred on what we need to do to fix the mental health system in Australia. Read more about this awesome opportunity on our Instagram page here.
Welcome Leanne Vuong: Training Education and Resources Officer

We are thrilled to welcome another new team member to Satellite! Leanne Vuong joined us in mid-March as our new Training and Education Resources Officer and we couldn’t be more delighted.
