Satellite launches ‘All The Coloured Glasses’ – an interactive zine!
Satellite is thrilled to launch our awesome new zine project, ‘All the Coloured Glasses’! This interactive zine launch coincides with Mental Health Month 2023, providing us with a valuable opportunity to raise awareness around mental health and wellbeing.
‘All the Coloured Glasses’ champions the voices of young people who have a family member with a mental health challenge.
Satellite Foundation uses creativity to build community and connection and share stories. We know mental health is complex and there’s no wrong way to share these journeys.
By engaging with young people’s experiences, we challenge stigma, foster empathy, and contribute to changing awareness and advocacy.
Traditionally serving as a platform for advocacy, zines are now designed to reach far and wide. As part of a significant anthology, our mini zines will reside in our very own Satellite Zine Machine and contribute to an interactive artwork.
Keep a look out for smaller portable Zine Machines as we will send out them to mental health centres and creative hubs across the state to share the voices of young people with the world.
