Young person survey: information

1.1 What is the project about?
– This project aims to understand the experiences and support needs of young
people who have a family member living with mental health challenges. Your
feedback will help Satellite Foundation improve its online and in-person
programs.

1.2 What do I need to do?
– You will complete an online survey that takes about 10 minutes. It asks about
your experiences, the support you need and how you would like to connect
with Satellite Foundation.

1.3 What are the risks and benefits?
– Some questions may bring up difficult feelings or experiences. You can stop the
survey at any time. If the survey brings up anything you would like support
with, you can contact Satellite Foundation via [email protected]
for information about support options available to you.

– Your feedback may help improve support for young people, and you will
receive a $25 eGift voucher for completing the survey. You will need to type in
your email address at the end of the survey. This won’t be linked to your
answers. This lets us send you the voucher. You will receive the voucher about
2 weeks after completing the survey. Each person may complete the survey
once and receive one voucher.

1.4 Do I have to take part?
– No. Taking part is your choice, and choosing not to take part will not affect your
access to Satellite Foundation’s programs or support.

1.5 Will I hear about the results of this project?
– You can contact Satellite Foundation if you would like to receive or find out
where to access a summary of the findings.

1.6 What will happen to information about me?
– Your survey answers will be stored securely and used only for this project.
Findings will be reported as a group, without using your name, and any contact
details collected for the voucher will be kept separate from your answers.

1.7 Where can I get further information?
– For more information, please contact [email protected].

1.8 Who can I contact if I have any concerns about the project?
