Enter “The World I Want to See” Creative Challenge

To celebrate Wear It Purple Day 2026, we’re inviting young adults aged 18–25 across Victoria to take part in our Creative Challenge.This is your chance to share your creativity, explore what belonging means to you, and imagine a world where everyone feels accepted. Your work could be featured in Satellite’s online gallery, and you’ll also go in the running to win two A Reserve tickets to see Heartstopper author Alice Oseman live in Melbourne.

Inspired by the themes of belonging, acceptance and being seen in the British Netflix series and graphic novel Heartstopper, we’re inviting you to reflect on your own experiences and express your vision of a more inclusive and compassionate world. We’re inviting you to respond creatively to one simple prompt:

Imagine a world where everyone feels accepted. What does it look like?

Accepted formats

You can submit your original creative response in any of the following formats:

• Photography
• Drawing or Illustration
• Digital collage
• Short poem
• Creative writing, up to 500 words
• Audio recording
• Short video, up to 60 seconds

Why participate?

• Have your work featured in Satellite’s online gallery (with your consent).
• Go in the running to win two tickets to see Alice Oseman live in Melbourne.
• Share your creativity and inspire others with your vision of a more inclusive world.

The winning entry will be selected by a judging panel appointed by Satellite. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, interpretation of the prompt, and overall impact. Technical or artistic skill will not be the primary basis for judging.

Who can enter?

• Young people aged 18–25 years (inclusive) at the time of entry
• Live in Victoria, Australia.
• Submit an original entry in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
