“In Orbit Together”: A podcast special for and by young carers

“In Orbit Together” was co-created between the Amplify working group from Satellite’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) and Satellite staff in 2026.  This aim of this group is to amplify the voices and presence of young people with caring responsibilities in creative ways. This is achieved through an emphasis on storytelling and lived experience, and highlighting the strengths and challenges faced by said young people.

While the intended audience of this podcast special is for those aged 16 to 22 years who have caring responsibilities, the content is equally relevant for friends, family and supporters of those in mind.
